The nativity scene is a very common item associated with Christmas. It reflects the baby Jesus is a manger with his parents Mary and Joseph. Nativity scenes usually have a barn for shelter and animals, wise men and shepherds inside. Nativity scenes can be small or large depending on the location. Many people have small nativity scenes displayed in their homes and pass them down through the generations. Office buildings and organizations often have large nativity scenes outside their quarters. Of course Christian churches almost always have nativity scenes and some even have living nativity scenes! These are quite a sight to see and the whole family will absolutely enjoy the experience.
